The 760 area code means San Diego right?  Well maybe not for much longer.  The California Public Utilities Commission may decide to do away with the 760 area code for good replacing it with a new code: 442.  The claim for the change has more to do with the fact that apparently the 760 area code is expected to run out of number within 17 months.  There is no definitive word yet, but it could be the closing curtain for the old 760.
