According to an article by the San Jose Mercury News, violent crime has apparently dropped in San Diego county to a 25 year low.  I’m not sure if this is pertinent news for San Jose residents, but it certainly is a cause for San Diegans to rest assured.  Don’t rest too assured though, the same article notes that robberies continue to increase, with 4,387 robberies reported last year compared to 4,313 in 2006.  I guess we can’t be perfect.
